File Contents: It might also help to update Windows' system settings on the PC's chipset info prior to installing the program (using progs/patches such as VIA4in1, ALiBusMasterIDE, etc.) to properly identify systemboard components and hence, iron-out system glitches that could potentially cause Windows to be unable to correctly detect the CD-Writer.
