Atapi IDE ATAPI INTERFACE 230kb Driver. 1. Extract this file to an empty folder. Such as C \COPY
2. Extract it to an empty floppy disk
3. If you are installing Win 95, you should have formated the drive using format c /s ((remember that formating your Hard Drive will delete all your information))!
4. With the ATAPI disk in your floppy drive type install. You may want to backup your AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files before step 4. Hey why not copy them to that new folder C \COPY you are going to make!
5. After you reboot, this driver should find your CD-ROM.
6. Win 95 may disable this drive later in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. This is OK. However if you are trying to install drivers from a CD-ROM and it stops working, just edit your AUTOEXEC.BAT file so the CD-ROM will work again.
