Matsushita (Matshita Panasonic) CR-581 Driver. Actually no cd-rom drivers are needed in Windows 95a. However the early version of Windows 95 (95a) requires updated ide drivers in order to detect the drive normally. This driver updates the ide drivers replacing them with newer versions. Once accomplished, then the os will detect the drive during bootup like it's suppose to do and like 95b and later versions do. Just install the driver by double-clicking it after downloading. Re-Boot computer, and the drive should be detected by the os and a listing should appear in Device Manager showing the drive.
