Adaptec 2100E CD-ROM Driver

Adaptec 2100E Driver. Install the firmware 1st follow the directions in the read me file, or the update may fail! You must have your Adaptec software installed on your computer because both of the Adaptec files are upgrades! I searched for days for Yamaha drivers I dont believe Yamaha has drivers their drives seem to be driving by software products like Adaptec. One other thing I did find in my search for drivers, was a help file that said to return your IDE controller to Standard Dual PCI IDE controller. I found this help file on Yamaha CDW but it did not say the 2100E had to have this done. I had already tried this and had never changed it back. So if you still have problems give this a try. One more thing! I have a system that runs both win98 and win2000 this same update process worked for win2000 also! Tim
