LG Electronics crd8522b Driver. This is the version available on lg site untill very recently. LG now say that software is chargeable.LGCRD8522B IS AN EXECUTABLE ZIP, CONTAINING FUNCTION EXE FILES SUCH AS CLOSE.EXE ETC A MSCDEX FILE ,A GSCDROM .SYS FILE AND A README FILE. The readme is self explanatery,when unzipped. to use run exe zip file, which will extract to default windows temp,create a file in the root directory (eg cddos etc) copy the 9 files to this. run the install file and follow instructions, it will create a folder, CDROM AND PLACE needed files in it. Reboot for system to find cdrom. These files have been used succesfully from dos /win95. win 98 once installed does not need a driver . This file is submitted because the existing mscdex on file gives problems.
